ACORN South West region

400 people including 100 children have been evacuated at no notice from Barton House.

Residents of council blocks around Bristol have concerns about their safety, and have received no clear information from the council.Community members and residents of Barton Hill are coming together to hold council leaders accountable. We have huge questions that remain unanswered.

Evacuated residents have been left in the dark with minimal support and no idea what the long term plan is. People are unable to work, have no facilities, and have been torn away from their communities.

Residents haven’t been given adequate opportunity to speak to decision makers at the council so we have been forced to create the opportunity. We need answers and accountability now.
