Chancellor Rachel Reeves has been renting out her home in Southwark without a license for almost a year,raking in £40,000 in rent.

This is illegal but Southwark council have said they are not taking any action depsite claiming to have a zero tolerance policy to landlords who break to law. 

This shows that either Southwark are not telling the truth about their policies or that they are bending the rules for a rich politician.
